Steps in Getting a Ghana Police Report (Criminal Checker) when you are out of
the country
Often
people are confused about how to obtaining a Police Report as Ghanaian living
outside the country for all practical purposes. Note the following before
probably causing frustration to yourself or possibly visit the official website
of the Ghana Police Service who are always ready to assist you.
However,
if you have a trusted relative in Ghana, let them know the following details to
help facilitate it at the Police CID Office:
1.
Get the Personal details of the person in abroad
a)
Full name of applicant
b)
Current Contact Address
c)
School attended (year) e.g Adonten Senior High School (2000 –
2004)
d)
Current Number
e)
Full name of Mother and Father (If any)
f)
Contact Address
2.
Copy of Recent Passport picture
3.
Copy of Passport
4.
The fee
After providing the details the process will
be initiated and when done you will be alerted for pickup.
When the original copy is done, take a picture
and send it to your relative abroad and later post it to the nearest prepared courier
service e.g DHL Ghana, FeDex Ghana etc…
Don’t forget to add the receipt to it.
