Sports News: Hudson-Odoi persuaded to stay, Giroud a Barcelona target

CHELSEA are reportedly hoping to convince Callum Hudson-Odoi his future lies at Stamford Bridge rather than Bayern Munich.
The German giants have made a £35million bid for the 18-year-old, who broke into Maurizio Sarri’s first-team squad at the start of the season.
Meanwhile, OLIVIER GIROUD is a shock transfer target for Barcelona, according to reports.
The striker, 32, is out of contract at Stamford Bridge this summer and the Catalan side are understood to be keen.
On the way in, Chelsea have reportedly agreed a contract with Leandro Paredes.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Argentine playmaker has agreed to a Stamford Bridge switch as Cesc Fabregas’ replacement.
Though the Blues' move for Gonzalo Higuain could be scuppered after Real Madrid began “transfer talks” with Genoa to sign Krzysztof Piatek, according to reports in Spain.
The Blues are on the hunt for a striker with Higuain, who is currently on loan from Juventus to AC Milan, top of Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri’s wishlist.
