Justice Sophia Akufo joins pensioners at Finance Ministry
Former Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, and current Chairman of the University of Ghana Council Her Ladyship Justice Sophia A.B Akuffo has joined protestors of pensioners bondholders at the Ministry of Finance over the Debt Exchange Programme.
Her Ladyship joined the protestors mainly Pensioners to be exempted from this Debts Exchange program.
With the Placards showing how their Bonds was used being used.
Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Finance website, "developments have necessitated the final extension of the deadline from 31st January, 2023, to Tuesday 7th February, 2023, and a new settlement date of Tuesday 14th February, 2023 that will be confirmed via the new Exchange Memorandum."
